If you are interested in purchasing Little Caesar’s Pizza from the Pep Club please call and leave our name and number with the office and someone will call you back.

Thanks to everyone for volunteering to help with the Booster homecoming meal again this year! It’s CK Booster’s main fundraiser which we then try to give back in a variety of ways.  We appreciate the support and hope many can come and enjoy the whole day.

Athletes: Thank you for all of the kind words about the locker posters. We LOVE that you are enjoying them and hope they boost your spirit. For this week only we would like to ask that you leave past posters IN your locker and display only your main poster (with your name and number on it) as well as the Homecoming poster (it's coming for all of you, we promise!) on the outside of your locker. We want our lockers to look nice and tidy for all of the extra visitors we will have on Friday!

Thank you so much, Mrs. Arnold & The Cheerleaders

Thursday, October 4th:

  1. At the All-School Pep Rally, on Monday , every student in the Cody-Kilgore District was placed on a team "ranch." These ranches were named for the life-giving rivers and creeks in our area: the Bear, Leander, Minnechaduza, Niobrara, Snake and Spring. Each team also has a special color and character quality that represents their ranch. Students created their own ranch brand, learned a ranch chant and were given a special t-shirt with the name of their ranch on the front and their character trait on the back. These ranches will compete throughout the year in all sorts of little competitions to earn points for their team. We will be using academic, athletic and spirit contests to keep the competition going and during school days the flag of the team currently leading will be flown outside our schools.  This Thursday, class color day will be RANCH color day and students are asked to wear their ranch t-shirt as well as anything else they can find in the same color to deck themselves out from head to toe. This will be the first spirit competition and points will be awarded to the best dressed team. This contest will be judged during the All-School Fun activity that will take place at 3:00 p.m. in Cody.
