Science Teacher - Athletic Director
"I was born in Nebraska but departed for Swaziland, Africa, with my parents and siblings when I was a year old. My parents were missionaries, and over the course of my childhood years we lived in Swaziland, Republic of South Africa, and Zimbabwe, as well as the United States. Because we moved every few years, I spent time in many different schools, both public and private, large and small, before graduating from Garden County High School in Oshkosh, Nebraska. The majority of my high school I attended Christian Brothers College, an all-boys Catholic high school in Bulawayo, where I enjoyed competing in rugby, water polo, cricket, swimming and track and field. I attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where I earned a Bachelor degree in Biology, met my lovely wife Amy, and played intercollegiate soccer. We lived and worked in Oklahoma for several more years before returning to Nebraska. Upon returning to Nebraska I farmed and ranched on the family farm for nine years, worked construction and attended Chadron State College, where I earned a second bachelor degree in education. In 2003, I began teaching science at Cody-Kilgore Unified Schools and I coach Track and Field, XC, and have been activities director since 2016. My wife and I have seven children and two grandchildren.
