SCH will offer Kids Club the last three Thursdays of School in lieu of VBS this year.
April 25th - 4:30 - 6:15 pm
May 2nd - 4:30 - 6:15 pm
May 9th - 4:30 - 6:15 pm

Thursday, May 2nd:
1. 8:30 am - Elementary comes to Cody.
2. 9:00 – 12:00 pm – Elementary Fun Day Activity@ Cody.
3. 11:45 – 1:00 pm – Lunch served – staggered times starting with Elementary.
Lunch will either be at Cody Park or the HS depending upon the weather.
4. 12:45 pm – PreK – 2nd grade loads up & returns to Kilgore.
5. 1:00 - 4:00 pm – 3rd -5th grade flag football at the football field, weather permitting. If unable to do so they will return to the Elementary at 1:00 pm. If they play, they will go home with parents at around 2:30 pm or if parents are not able to take them home, they will ride the bus from Cody at 4:00 pm.
6. 1:00 – 4:00 pm – 6th grade – 12th grade Fun Day Activity
Friday, May 3rd:
1. 7:00 am leave time - JH & HS Valentine Track Meet
Monday, May 6th:
1. 6:15 am leave time - School of Mines Math Contest
2. Cheerleaders, please turn in both sets of uniforms, jackets, pants, and both sets of poms by the end of the day. Please make sure your name is on it.
Tuesday, May 7th:
1. 7:15 am – Senior Breakfast hosted by Sandhills Church of Hope.
2. 12:20 pm – Lunch Meeting for next year’s HS boys interested in playing BB.
3. 11:15 am leave time - JH Music Performs at Cherry Hills
4. 4:30 pm – Freshman Orientation Eighth grade students and their parents are invited to attend freshman orientation on Tuesday, May 7 at 4:30 in the high school math room. We will discuss high school expectations, required courses, and register students for freshman classes. One 2024-2025 activity pass will be given away!
5. 5:30 pm – 8th Grade Graduation followed by Awards Night.
6. Secret Pal Reveal at the end of Awards Night. If you do not plan on attending Awards Night, please have your gift to the school by the end of the school day (4:00 pm).
Wednesday, May 8th:
1. HS District Track
2. 10:00 am – Bookmobile in Cody
3. 12:30 pm – Bookmobile in Kilgore
4. 2:20 pm – Elementary buses to Cody for music practice.
5. 2:45 – 4:00 pm – Elementary Music Practice for Concert
6. 4:00 pm – ALL BUSES LEAVE FROM CODY – please plan accordingly to pick up your children.
7. 6:30 pm Elementary Spring Concert
Thursday, May 9th:
1. Signed class schedules for 2024-2025 are due.
2. Senior Class Last Day
3. 8:00 am - Senior Class Finals in the AM
4. 1:00 pm - Senior Class Sets up for Graduation and Practice
Seniors will be dismissed when done with Graduation Practice and have checked
out with teachers and the office.

3. HS Finals – HS Students will be dismissed when they are done with their last final and have checked out with teachers and the office.
4. 12:00 pm – dismissal for JH students. Parents, please plan to pick up students. If unable to pick them up, we will send them on the bus at 4:00 pm.
5. 4:00 pm – HS Track Team Picnic at Coach Blume-Vackiner’s Home. 560 4th street, Cody, NE.
