Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Cody-Kilgore Unified School District pauses to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His powerful message of equality, justice, and treating every person with dignity continues to inspire us.
In his words:
"The time is always right to do what is right."
Whether it's standing up for a friend, helping a neighbor, or simply showing kindness to everyone we meet, we can all carry forward Dr. King's dream of a more united and compassionate world.
To our students, staff, families, and neighbors: Thank you for being part of a school family that values respect, hard work, and caring for one another.
