General Announcements: 

  1. Students need to return their signed 2023-2024 class schedules to Mrs. Fay before the end of the school year.

  2. The Finals schedule for each student will be emailed to students and parents Tuesday afternoon.

  1. The boys basketball team is doing a calf wrestling fundraiser. If you’re short on help let us help you out. $300-2 person team $150-individual Please make checks payable to Cody-Kilgore High School, memo boys basketball. If you’d like to schedule something or have any questions please call or text Teeyl Ford 402-389-1120 Or Kevin Ravenscroft 402-322-9173

  2. REMINDER FOR BRANDINGS: Parents please call, email or text the office to let us know if your student will be absent for a branding.  We also need to know if they were purchased through the FFA.

  3. Basketball Camp - May 22nd - 26th

    1. 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Grades 6-8 Boys and Girls

    2. 10:00 am - 12:30 pm: Grades 9-12 Boys and Girls. 

    3. 9-12th grade boys and girls please come at 9 am to help with younger students' camp. 

Monday, May 15th: 

  1. Track uniform turn in (except for State qualifiers) and quick meeting on Monday May 15th in the gym after school

  2. 7:00 pm - FFA Banquet

Tuesday, May 16th: 

  1. Cody Country 4H Club meeting at 4:30 on Tuesday the 16th in Cody at the High School near the flag pole. Ages involved are 4H kids 8-18 or Clover Kids 5-7 as of January 1 of current year. Come find out what 4-H is all about. Reach out with questions to Michelle McNare at (402)322-1438. 

  2. Track and Field BBQ at Coach Ashley's after school on Tuesday May 16th.  Bring a lawn chair if you have one. 

Wednesday, May 17th: 

  1. Junior High Track Uniforms need to be turned in to Ms. Mary Kay

  2. 4:30 - 7:00 pm - Open House for Donna Blocker & Sharon Tolliver.  Please join us for cake and coffee at Cody HS as we bid farewell to Donna who is retiring and Sharon who is moving on to Lexington. 

Thursday, May 18th: 

  1. State Track - leaving at 11:15

  2. Elementary Carnival @ Kilgore

    1. 8:30-10:00-Setup

    2. 10:00-12:00- Carnival

    3. 10:30-12:00 Collect prizes

    4. 12:00-1:00- Lunch-Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.  Parents bring a side dish or dessert.
