JH Football Schedule update: JH's game against Sioux County on Oct 18th has been canceled due to low numbers. We have added another game with Hay Springs on Sept 30th at Hay Springs. Kick-off is at 4:30 PM

We need volunteers for the chain gang at HS Football games. We also need refs for JH Football and chain gang volunteers. We pay for reffing, and the chain gang crew gets free concessions. We are thankful for those who have helped in the past and continue to help, but we need more help so that the same people are not asked each week. We need two helpers for the chain gang for the high school football game on Friday. Kick-off is at 1 p.m., and I would like the chain gang to be at the field by 12:45 p.m. The other games that we need help with reffing and chain gang are: Sept 27th for junior high and high school Oct 11th for junior high and high school. If you do not have experience with chain gang, it takes 5 minutes to learn. HS refs do a great job helping the chain gang. Please contact Mr. Galvin if you are interested in helping. Due to the sickness in the elementary school, Picture Day has been moved to, Thursday, September 5th.

Coach Barnes would like to have JH FB practice tomorrow from 4-6pm. We realize this is late notice, if your child cannot make it to practice tomorrow, it will not be counted against them.

The Cody-Kilgore School District will be looking to add a playground to the new Elementary site in Cody. We are looking for community members willing to help plan the playground and pursue grants. If you are interested, please contact Ryan Orrock at 605-850-450. The first meeting will be September 19th at 6:00 p.m. at the Cody MS/HS Building.

MS Football practice times have been changed August 14 ( During 7th Hour) - 3-4pm August 15- 4-6pm Please let me know if they will be riding the late bus on Thursday if you haven't done so.

Reminder- MS/HS students need to bring $25 to check out computers on the first day for school, computers can not be picked up till paid for. HS parents if your student would like to add or drop a class they will need permission from you. Contact Mrs Fay by Monday Aug 19th for any changes.
