There will be open gym for high school boys and girls, incoming freshmen - seniors, from 6-8 pm. Wednesday's June 7th, 14th, and 28th.


Summer weights will be on Monday and Thursday mornings from 6:00 am to 7:00 beginning June 12th.


Next year the contacts for the Secret Pal Program will be Janell Naslund and Beth Jones.

Also another huge shout out to the assistant coach Natasha Hamilton it's her last year, but will volunteer next year and to our two volunteer coaches Stephanie Hamilton and Clay Hamilton. They will also be joining us again as volunteers next year.

The Cody-Kilgore Basketball Camp has been postponed, and as a result, there will be no camp for the remainder of the week.

Mikena and Coyoke qualified for South Dakota junior high rodeo short go
Coyoke in the .22 shoot. He ended up 12th in the average
Mikena in goat tying and pole bending. Mikena won the short go round with a 7.63 and ended the season as the reserve state champion. She is heading to Perry, GA in June for Nationals.
Mikena also competed in team roping, ribbon roping, barrels and breakaway


Having the highest class attendance at the elementary for the 2022-2023 school year calls for donuts and juice as we close out another school year in first grade!


Good morning! Just a friendly reminder that the Elementary Carnival will take place tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in Kilgore. Parents, you are more than welcome to join us for the activities starting at 10:00 a.m., and we would love to have you stay for lunch afterward. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

Kindergarteners & First Graders had a great field trip today to Sunshine Greenhouse, the Valentine Firehouse, and two parks!

🧬 CK Biologists put their DNA and Hereditary knowledge to the test and broke out of an escape room to stop the evil Dr. Plasmid.

🪴 8th grade scientists and artists painted jars and used their green thumbs to transplant Chlorophytum comosum.
🦆 CK Anatomists and Physiologists studied embryo development, had a successful hatch with 70% and are the proud parents of 7 ducklings.
Mrs. Burchfield has also been busy photo bombing. 😉💣

We are excited to announce that today, May 11th, we will be having our annual Elementary Track and Field Day! Preschool to 2nd graders will participate from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by 3rd to 5th graders from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., both at Kilgore. Parents are welcome to attend. Parents you can take your children after the events. Otherwise they will go home at the regular time.
In addition, we would like to remind you of the upcoming Elementary Carnival on Thursday, May 18th. The carnival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kilgore, and lunch will be provided. We kindly ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to contribute to the meal.
