💥First Lego League Regional Robotics Challenge was held in Henderson! 🤖
Will Cox and Krosston Kasner along with Jaeden Garwood, "Cherry County Bots" competed Saturday. They gained a lot of knowledge and “need to dos” to be even better for next year. They finished in the top 3rd out of 38 teams, just missing state qualifications and have lots to be proud of for their first year!
To start their day they had to present an Innovative Project Presentation.
Their project had to solve a problem in the community and make a positive change on Energy. They choose to 3D print a new school, recycling and crushing the bricks from the old school to use in the 3D cement mixture. The walls will then serve as a Thermal Storage Structure to store and provide energy to operate the school!
They also had to design, construct a program a robot to complete Energy Missions in the afternoon.
