Bennett Co. meet on April 6th had to be moved due to snow on the track still and CK can't go on the new date so that meet is cancelled for CK track & field.
Districts is Wednesday, May 10th, @ Plainview. Attached is a picture of district assignments.

Congratulations to our third quarter honor roll students!
First graders are gearing up for Spring and our final unit in reading! From majestic, house-sized trees that have stood for millenia to fleeting, delicate flowers in brilliant hues, plants come in a fascinating array of shapes, sizes, and colors. Aside from their natural beauty, plants also provide animals with many of their basic needs. We often take for granted the amazing diversity of the plant life around us, but in the upcoming weeks, first graders will have the opportunity to participate in a focused investigation of the world of plants.
Special thanks to the Cody-Kilgore FFA Greenhouse Committee for helping us kickstart our unit by helping us plant: Bachelor Buttons, Marigolds, Sunflowers, Strawberries, Romaine Lettuce, Peppers, Cucumbers, and Beans! We can't wait for them to come back and help us transplant to pots and the tower garden!

JH track that was on the calendar for April 6th at Chadron has been corrected and changed to Wednesday, April 5th as the correct date on the google calendar.
The HS Bassett meet was also corrected and moved to Tuesday, April 4th as the correct date on on the google calendar.
Cody-Kilgore has an Activities Director position open for the 2023-2024 school year. If you are interested in the job please email Allie O'Neill at aoneill@cody-kilgore.com with your letter of intent.
Interviews will be set up and the job will be filled by May 1st.
Juniors had the opportunity to tour Chadron State College and enjoy a show in the new campus planetarium on Tuesday!
Junior high BeanBoozled!
High school and junior high students played BeanBoozled as an incentive for staying eligible! Some of them enjoyed it more than others!
Congratulations to both Cooper Fay and Aubree Johnson for All-Conference awards for basketball. Cooper Fay received All-Conference 2nd Team and Aubree Johnson received All-Conference Honorable Mention. Keep working hard!

Congratulations to Hayden in Mrs. Kasner's Enrichment and Intervention! As a 1st grader, Hayden is "on his way" and successfully reading 4th grade passages at 101 words per minute!
