Intro to Life
The freshmen and 8th grade classes got to go on college visits this week. Freshmen went to CSC and 8th grade went to WNCC. Thanks to EducationQuest for providing the grant funding for these college visits!
The Circle C Market will open at 10 am on Thursday, November 17th.

The CK Drama Team competed at MNAC conference and took 3rd place. They did an excellent presenting their show “Radium Girls” in Thedford. Byron S. was named Top Outstanding Actor. Students receiving Outstanding Actor/Actress awards were: Mikah, Sadee, Ally, Kassidy, Byron, Jimmy, Kamryn and Bara.

Due to the road conditions and the wind coming up later this morning there will be no school today November 10th.
Good Morning. The Regular School Board Meeting scheduled for today has been moved to November 15th. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be in the Cody Cottage. Have a great day.
Due to the road conditions, the Cody-Kilgore School District will have a 10:00 start tomorrow November 10th. County trucks are down and I want to see the road conditions in the morning. Please remember we have students and staff coming from all directions. The weather might be worse in some areas than in others. If you do not feel safe sending your child on the roads, then please keep them home.

A Veteran’s Day Meal will be served. The public is welcome to attend or get a take away meal. Please contact the office to let us know if you would like to attend so we can give the cook numbers. The cost is $6.50 per meal. Veterans Eat Free! Then at 1:00 pm we will celebrate with a Veterans Day Middle/High School Program at the Cody Gym - all are welcome to attend.

Junior high and high school students participated in a trick-or-treat scavenger hunt on Halloween. Students were given a clue about a staff member and had to complete a challenge in that classroom to receive their next clue! Students in these pictures are shooting hoops for Mr. Hamilton, building a marshmallow snowman with popsicle sticks with Mrs. Jones, and trying to find a dad joke good enough to make Mrs. Naslund laugh or at least roll her eyes!
