The kindergarteners love to read! Today, two of them read a book and showed the pages to their classmates. Rowan was inspired to dress like a favorite character in the books she’s reading.

Junior High Quiz Bowl had a great day in Halsey! We can’t wait for our next meet at the end of the month.


Annalise and Abby practiced their speech duet for the 6/7th grade today.



The 4th and 5th grade were challenged by Mr. Hamilton to complete a F'real Run February. This required extra running in PE to get a certificate from Mr. Hamilton. This is the 1st year that ALL of the students participated and received a f'real certificate.

Future Clinical Laboratory Scientists 👩🔬👨🔬 were able to reunite mismatched babies with their biological mothers through a simulated ABO blood typing lab. 🩸
CK Scholars also determined their own blood type. 🅰️🅱️🆎🅾️
Fun fact: One CK scholar has the rarest blood type (AB-) and is a universal plasma donor — just 0.6% of donors have this type. Another CK scholar is a universal donor (O-), has the most needed blood type, and will donate their blood for the 3rd time today! 💪👊
