Good Morning, Cody-Kilgore, parents and guardians. We recently had a confirmed case of Covid. We are still operating in the green on our Safe to Return Plan. Please go to our school website and scroll to the bottom to view the plan. Below are symptoms and procedures if your child has confirmed COVID-19. Symptoms to watch for include • Any of the following: sudden onset of cough, sudden onset of shortness of breath, or sudden loss of taste or smell, OR • Two or more of the following symptoms: a fever of 100.4 or above, chills, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or fatigue. If your child develops symptoms before the above monitoring end date, they should isolate at home immediately and contact their health care provider. Isolation shall continue until • At least five (5) days* have passed since the onset of symptoms AND • Symptoms have improved AND • The isolated individual has been fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.

Good Morning, Cody-Kilgore Junior High parents and guardians. We recently had a confirmed case of COVID-19 with a junior high student. Please keep a lookout to see if your child starts to develop symptoms related to Covid-19 until December 13th. We have sent a letter home to all students detailing what to keep an eye on and what to do if your child starts to show symptoms related to COVID-19. Sophomore class traveled to Valentine for Intro to Life

Yesterday Gunner and Laura rehearsed and performed with the Nebraska All-State Children's Choir at the Lied Center in Lincoln. They did a fabulous job and had a great time making music with 312 other 4th & 5th grade students from across Nebraska. Way to represent CK Gunner & Laura!

There is no early pick up at Kilgore today Thursday 11/16. There is no early open gym or practice during PE class. Please make sure your student rides the bus this morning.
