Breaking News! Here's a sneak peek into this edition of CK Beat!! This is the first time we celebrate the Cowboy and Cowgirl of the Month for High School and Junior High students! Each month, we will celebrate students who go above and beyond what is expected of them in school and the community. Due to a team backing out of the triangular at Crawford tomorrow. Cody-Kilgore Varsity Volleyball team will be playing one match against Crawford at 4 PM MT.

Juniors and seniors traveled to the college fair in Ainsworth. EducationQuest presented on ways to pay for college and the changes to the FAFSA. Students then visited different booths representing community colleges, trade schools, and the military.

FFA students went to NCTA in Curtis yesterday to compete in Livestock Judging amd Farm and Ranch Management contests. Although we didnt qualify any teams yesterday we had some great individual accomplishments. All results are listed below. Good Morning Cody-Kilgore parents and guardians. We recently have had a confirmed cased of Covid. We are still operating in the green on our Safe to Return Plan. Please go to our school website and scroll to the bottom to view the plan. Below are symptoms and procedures if your child has confirmed Covid. Symptoms to watch for include: • Any of the following: sudden onset of cough, sudden onset of shortness of breath, or sudden loss of taste or smell, OR • Two or more of the following symptoms: a fever of 100.4 or above, chills, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or fatigue. If your child develops symptoms before the above monitoring end date, they should isolate at home immediately and contact their health care provider. Isolation shall continue until: • At least five (5) days* have passed since onset of symptoms AND • Symptoms have improved AND • The isolated individual has been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever- reducing medication.

Cody-Kilgore Junior High students had an epic blast at their first-ever Junior High Homecoming Dance! Teachers and administrators had a blast watching the JH students tear up the dance floor! It was fantastic seeing the students bust out their best dance moves! Not only were we impressed with their dance moves, but we were also impressed with how they were showing Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence towards their peers and community members! We cannot wait for the spring Junior High Dance!! Special shout out to Eve Millar from Millar Time DJ'ing!
