Cody-Kilgore was well represented in Friday's NE-WY shootout. Wearing red and white were Peyton Sterkel, Gage Davis, and Tucker Ravenscroft. Leading the Nebraska team was head coach, Landon Miller. Nebraska came up just short after a hard fight falling to Wyoming, 44-68. Davis and Sterkel will also be playing in the Can-Am Bowl July 4th. Good job boys!

Congratulations to C-K’s Nebraska Junior High Rodeo contestants! Cash Cooper is the light rifle reserve champion and Hesston Fay is the team roping heeler reserve champion. Cash and Hesston both qualified for the Junior High National Finals Rodeo in Perry, Georgia!
The Cody-Kilgore School Board will be having a Town Hall Meeting on June 15th. It will be in Cody at 7:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to go to classrooms which will have two board members present to discuss the project.

2nd Grade had a Family Picnic with a few Minute it to Win it Games followed by Classroom Awards, which were nominated and voted on by their own classmates, and then headed off to Track and Field Day!
Notice of School Board Vacancy. A vacancy on the Cody-Kilgore Public Schools Board of Education was created on May 16, 2022. The vacancy occurred due to board member Kurt Busenitz ceasing to be a resident of the school district in which the duties of his office are exercised. The term of this position will expire on the first Thursday after the first Tuesday in January, 2023.
The appointment will be decided on June 13th. The appointed person will start July 11th.
